Template: 2012.R2.DC.x64.EVAL.US-English.gz
Physical or Virtual: OVH SSD VPS 3
Motherboard: na
Processor: 2 vCores - 2.4 Ghz
RAM: 8 GB
Location: OVH - Strasbourg SBG1
Error Information:
No issues downloading the template in Rescue mode. But when I restart the server, Windows Server goes into a
boot loop, resulting in Windows starting in Trouble shoot mode.
I have tried Refresh, I have tried Reinstall but none of them is working.
Under Advanced options I have tried Automatic Repair, but it only give me an error.

So Windows Server 2012 R2 is not working on OVH VPS SSD 3

Thank you for the report, I will be spinning up a VPS with OVH shortly to troubleshoot.

Have you tried either Windows 10 or Server 2016?

I have also the same issue. I looked the partition table with rescue mode. There may be a problem with this?

Device      Boot      Start        End    Sectors   Size Id Type
/dev/sdb1p1      1920221984 3736432267 1816210284   866G 72 unknown
/dev/sdb1p2 ?    1936028192 3889681299 1953653108 931.6G 6c unknown
/dev/sdb1p3 ?             0          0          0     0B  0 Empty
/dev/sdb1p4        27722122   27722568        447 223.5K  0 Empty

Partition table entries are not in disk order.

Partition 1: overlaps partition 2.

Total allocated sectors 3889681748 greater than the maximum 716800.

And just for your information; I can not create Windows servers using OVH admin panel too. It gives an error. I opened a support ticket to OVH. They have escalated that to the administrators! Waiting them for 2 days.

I don't know if your problem is related with OVH problem.

I am pleased to say this issue has now been resolved and new templates will be released in the coming days again supporting OVH's SSD VPS offering. I will update this thread once the new templates are available for installation.
